    • Possibility of cure following surgery only
  • WHO grade II
    • Infiltrating
    • Low in mitotic activity
    • Recur more frequently than grade I malignant tumors after local therapy
    • Some tumor types tend to progress to higher grades of malignancy
  • WHO grade III
    • Evidence of malignancy
      • Nuclear atypia
      • Increased mitotic activity
      • Anaplastic histology
      • Infiltrative capacity
      • Usually treated with aggressive adjuvant therapy.
  • WHO grade IV
    • Mitotically active
    • Necrosis-prone
    • Proliferation
    • Vascular invasion
    • Rapid preoperative and postoperative progression and fatal outcomes
